Demi-chan wa Kataritai (also known as Interviews with Monster Girls) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Petos. The series was first published in Japan in 2014 and has since been localized in English by Kodansha Comics.
The story is set in a world where demi-humans, or "demis" for short, coexist with humans. The main character, Tetsuo Takahashi, is a biology teacher at Shibasaki High School who is interested in researching demis. He ends up interviewing and befriending four demis: a vampire, a dullahan, a snow woman, and a succubus, all of whom attend the school where he teaches.
The manga touches on themes of discrimination and acceptance, as demis in the world of the story often face prejudice and a lack of understanding from humans. It explores the experiences of the four demis and how they navigate their unique abilities and struggles, as well as their interactions with Tetsuo and other humans.
The series has been adapted into an anime television series as well as a manga spin-off titled Demi-chan wa Kataritai Desu.
